Corona Virus Advice

We're not here to offer medical advice, just practical advice for salon visits.

There is no doubt that this virus will impact a lot of people around the world, and we'd be naive to think we may escape.

Obviously, this is an ongoing situation, which is changing day-by-day, and you can rest assured we are staying on top of it.

Like all small business owners right now, there is a genuine concern about what is happening, but safety must come first – for clients, for our wonderful staff, and, let’s face it, society in general; especially more vulnerable people.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will remain open until the time it is not feasible. But, we will be insisting on the following requests:

  • Please don’t be offended, but we will be asking anyone coming to the salon for their appointment to wash their hands on arrival.
  • If you, or someone you have been in contact, with has travelled from the worst affected Covid-19 areas, please cancel your appointments.
In the mean time, we can assure you that we have taken extra measures in the salon, including
  • We are disinfecting stations after every treatment using an antibacterial solution.
  • Requesting staff to stay away from work if they feel unwell.
  • We already sterilise our tools after each client and store our implements in Barbicide.
  • Our staff already wash their hands between clients, using hand-washing technique as set out by the WHO.
  • We now disinfect our reception desk, card machine and door handles at regular intervals throughout the day.
  • We request Apple/GooglePay/contactless transactions where possible.

Once again. Thank you for your support. Different people will obviously have different opinions about what is happening and that is fine. But, as the person with ultimate responsibility for the welfare of my staff and clients, I must insist that we enforce necessary precautions.

I hope that this issue will pass many of you with as little impact as possible and that we can all get back to some kind of normal in the near future, and once again I thank you on behalf of myself and the team for your ongoing support.

Symptoms of coronavirus

  • A cough
  • A high temperature
  • A shortness of breath

These symptoms do not necessarily mean you have the illness as they are similar to other illnesses that are much more common, such as cold and flu.

Please remember, although there is a lot of news and social media, our fantastic NHS are the best people to listen to for advice.
